Dr. Kabir Rabiu, the Iconic Author and Member Of the distinguished Chartered Institute of Logistics And Transport (Global), mourns Late Father.

The honourary Doctorate Degree recipient from the prestigious London Graduate School, UK, and a running member of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), an offshoot of the world body Pan-African Writers Association (PAWA) in an official statement announced the demise of his father Alhaji Braihmah Rabiu.

His late father; a renowned figure in the global polity, until his death was a multi-disciplinary business tycoon, a high-ranking retired military personnel of the Nigerian Army. He also led and was a member of the Executive Boards of several local and international organizations, both in the private and public sectors. He also interfaced with several government agencies where he brought his wealth of experience to bear in serving meritoriously including the Muslims Pilgrims Board, and defunct Bacita sugar Estates in Kwara state, Nigeria.

Until his demise, the retired Army Officer served as a top-most consulting personnel to several security organizations. He also established a strong presence in the agricultural sector where he was a key stakeholder.

                                       The late Braimoh was a man of many caps.

According to the Author, after the necessary surgical procedures were carried out, the late Alhaji’s salatul janaizah was held at the Islamic centre located on 75th masjid Naperville Illinois, United States of America on August 22nd being Tuesday.

He is survived by six (6) children, including Dr. Kabir Rabiu.


While the Dr. Rabiu, recounts the timeless qualities of his late father, his siblings were full of words.

“My Father was my hero, a practical and kindhearted man. He was adventurous and full of optimistic faith, never backing down from any battle and challenges. I will always love and miss him.” Quoted his daughter, Dr. Amina Fatiregun a Canada-based consultant oncologist.

Giving her condolence message, Rabiu Mulikatu; the sister of the late veteran military personnel recounted that her brother whom she fondly called “late brother B.B Rabiu” lived his life as “a devoted Muslim, a great man, peace-loving, kindhearted and a generous giver"

"His love for the less privileged knew no bounds across the board”. While she registers her doubt over the transition of her late brother, she prays Allah “forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.”

At Ojomu mosque, ile Balogun, Oriafa compound, Offa in  Kwara State on Saturday 26th, August 2023 at around 1:45 pm prayers were made for the repose of the departed Alhaji B. B. Rabiu.

Also, at Quba Jumma’at Mosque, Tukuntawa, Kano State, with  friends, family, and other well-wishers joining to pay their last honour.

Late Alhaji Braimoh Balogun Adegboyega, was an offshoot of the Balogun (warrior) clan of Ile Balogun, Oriafa, Offa, Kwara state, Nigeria.

Several condolence messages and visits have been trailing into the home and hands of the Logistics and supply chain guru, from around the world where he has made his marks, in the spirit of oneness and love and in various capacities.
